Year 2 Singing Extravaganza
Year 2 put on a showstopper of a concert alongside Aylward children at their school. St John's Children travelled to Aylward School and spent most of the day rehearsing for their concert later in the afternoon. They worked on the actions and making sure they were coming in correctly in the rounds. After a lovely lunch time the children had a final run through before the parents arrived for the concert.
The children had been busy learning many songs over the half term to perform to their parents:Warm Up and Stomp Canon; Boom Chicka Boom; The Pirate Ship; Janie Mama; We're All in this Together. Both St John's and Aylward also learnt their own song that they performed to each other. A lot of fun was had by everyone and the parents were thrilled to hear such wonderful singing!
