Who is a member of the PFA?
All parents and carers automatically become members of the PFA when your child starts school at St. John’s.
-
Why we are here?
The PFA plays a vital part in school life at St John’s and has raised over £30,000 in the last four years alone. All monies raised are used by the school to improve facilities such as the playground climbing frames, wooden houses and stage. More recently every classroom has had a visualizer installed to aid leaning for all children. Currently we are raising funds to enable the school to update the ICT facilities.
- How does it work?
Events run by the PFA include Cake Sales, Christmas Fair, Family disco, Circus etc. These events take many months of planning by a very dedicated group of individuals, whose aim is to raise much needed funds for the school, whilst trying to bring the school community together in a friendly and fun environment.
