Young Voices 2018
What an amazing experience! After months of rehearsing a vast variety of songs the day had finally arrived. On Monday 5th February St John's Sing Up Club travelled down to the o2 in Grenwich to take part in the annual Young Voices Performance. This was the first year that St John's Children had taken part in this event. We were joined by a total of 7,891 children from schools all over London and from further afield.
The rehearsal was great fun, singing through the songs in the giant arena, meeting the stars and rehearsing with the band. We even saw Andy from Urban Strides who reminded the children of all the dance moves they had to do.
After a quick tea the children were ready to perform to a packed audience. It was truly magical with all the lights and the children felt like pop stars!
