St John's Church of England School

We were very proud to take along a group of 15 of our year 4 children to the Recorder Festival this year. The children had only started learning recorder in September and enjoyed playing so much that they started a recorder club in the Spring Term. The Recorder Festival took place at Glebe School and there were children present from about 5 different primary schools all across Harrow. The children had a lot of pieces to learn for the concert and really enjoyed the challenge of learning a lot of new notes! During the day the children all practised together and then the parents were invited back for the concert at the end of the day.
