St John's Church of England School

The children from Year 2 took part in our annual event with Aylward School where the children worked together to learn the same songs and put on a concert for the parents. There was a large repetoire of songs for the children to learn and they even learnt a percussion song using cups! The children had worked hard all term learning these songs off by heart and adding actions to them. On the day of the concert the children spent the day at Aylward School with their Year 2 students and they practised the songs together. At the end of the afternoon the parents came to watch the concert. All the children performed brilliantly.
