St John's Church of England School

Over 20 of our children took part in the annual Harrow String Festival this week. It was held at the Elliot Hall in the Harrow Arts Centre where children from schools all across Harrow took part in the event. The children had been busy learning their pieces during the Spring Term with their insstrumental teachers and then they put it all together with the other instrumentalists during the day's rehearsal. A fun time was had by all.  In the evening the children returned and put on a concert for all their parents and friends and it was an amazing performance. We were very proud of all our children that took part and it was great to see St John's children leading the Violin, Viola and Cello section. Well done to all involved and a big thank you to our Violin/Viola teacher Ms Xenos and our Cello teacher Mr Lynch.
