Music for Youth Regional Auditions
St John's Orchestra had an amazing opportunity to take part in the regional auditions for Music for Youth in March. We travelled to Harrow Arts Centre and performed alongside a wide range of different groups including a composition group from Ealing, a cajon group, an Irish group and and Indian group. We chose to play a varying programme to showcase the orchestra at its best. We played A Pirate's Voyage, Scottish Melodies and finished our programme with My Lighthouse. The children performed exceptionally well and were a credit to the school. We received some excellent feedback from the judges who were present and will now wait to find out if we got through to nationals in Birmingham.
