Recorder Festival
This year, the HMS Recorder Festival turned out to be one of the biggest and best recorder concerts. The event was held at Glebe School where the children from over 10 different primary schools came together to rehearse throughout the day and then put on a fabulous performance. There were a range of pieces that were performed from Amazing Grace, the Theme from Forrest Gump and even Baggy Trousers by Madness. There was also a special performance from 4 recorder students who played Hoe Down and the staff played a fantastic piece called Minuet and Trio. At the end of the day the parents were invited back for a truly fantastic concert and the children played brilliantly. Well done everyone.
There were 25 children who attended Recorder Festival this year. They played brilliantly.
