Guitar Lessons

Guitar Lessons take place every Wednesday in the Music Room. Lessons cost £80 per term and are payable in advance via parent pay.
Lessons take place in small groups of about 4 students.
All students will need to purchase their own guitar for lessons as we do not have any guitars for hire. Details of which guitar to buy will be given by Mr Gunter, the Guitar teacher.
If you would like to learn this instrument then please pick up a form from the school office or speak to Mrs Ogunniyi or Mrs Lacey.
Mr Gunter
Kieran Gunter has worked for the Harrow Music service for 4 years and as a guitar teacher for 12. He began on classical guitar as a child (having been greatly inspired by the guitarist in the local church’s worship band) before switching to electric before bringing the classical back again. He now plays both of them an equal amount.
His musical journey took him to study jazz at Leeds College of Music and he has performed with a diverse range of other musicians, including pop, musical theatre and Brazilian. His work as a musician has taken him around the UK, to several mainland European countries and the US.
After over 20 years of playing the guitar, he is still just as excited about it as ever and looks forward to the next 2-3 decades with it!
