St John's Church of England School

Oboe lessons are taught every Thursday in the Music Room. Lessons cost £80 per term and are payable in advance via parent pay.

There are a number of instruments to hire from the school for £15. If you require an instrument to hire then please speak to Mrs Ogunniyi or Mrs Lacey.

Catherine Underhill is a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and University of Southampton. She performs in operas, orchestras, musical pit bands and chamber music settings. She is the oboist for Kander Ensemble and Hacha Duo. 

Catherine teaches the oboe, flute, clarinet and saxophone. She has taught for Harrow Music Service for over 5 years. Her musical journey started by learning the keyboard at primary school, followed by the oboe at secondary school. Catherine enjoys seeing the children progress and giving them opportunities to perform, inspiring the next generation.
